Progress

There’s been none lol I haven’t been weighing at all. Though I don’t think I’ve gained any weight, I seriously doubt I’ve lost any. While I’ve continued to eat reasonably healthy, I’ve also not stuck to the things that make all the difference like Breakfast and Snacks between meals oh and EXERCISE. Lol I’m feelings strong this morning. I feel like God has something instore for me soon. I read my Bible this morning which is something I always aim to do but rarely get in more than my daily devotional and daily love. Sooo I’m promising myself to really continue being smart about my health choices so I can get HEALTHY!

Back to a routine for weight loss

So my granddaddy died last week. Its been a busy few weeks with him in hospitals and the nursing home and a routine has been impossible. I miss hime like crazy and its gonna be hard for awhile. However, I’m jumping back into my healthy eating routine with exercise and early mornings. Day 2 of it and I’m feeling good. I lost twenty pounds doing this last time and now that I’m here again about a month later, I’m so ready to get that other twenty off :-D back on the grind :-)

OMG Making these!

Baked Parmesan Tomatoes
TIP: I used a cupcake tin to hold the tomatoes together while baking!
Ingredients
4 tomatoes, halved horizontally
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon chopped fresh oregano
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
Freshly ground pepper, to taste
4 teaspoons extra-virgin olive oil
Preparation
Preheat oven to 450° F.
Place tomatoes cut-side up on a baking sheet. Top with Parmesan, oregano, salt and pepper. Drizzle with oil and bake until the tomatoes are tender, about 15 minutes.
~ 62 calories per half tomato.

Okay, this looks amazing. I need to make this.

I’ve been craving some more of these :-D

In September, I sat a goal to better myself and become independent again. I will always be bettering myself but yesterday, I was able to buy a brand new car! I’m finally independent again. I gave myself a year and it only took 6 months. I’m so freaking excited! I’m so very proud of myself! Hello 2012 Kia Forte! :-D what shall I name it?
